What One Thing Do You Want to Know About Your Fellow Jewelers?

In the first week of August we’ll be launching our latest Big Survey. As with the past three, our goal is ambitious: We want to know just about everything there is to know about the independent jeweler in North America. In the past we’ve asked about how he was coping with the recession, what kind of equipment he had in the shop, how much he paid in rent, what he watched on television (Survey 2009), the most regrettable thing he’d ever done to close a sale (Survey 2007) and much more (including his taste in swimwear -- Italian briefs scored poorly). But as we prepare the questions for this year’s survey, we also want to know what YOU would like to find out about your peers. So, if there was one question you could ask of 800-1,000 of your fellow jewelers, what would it be?
