Dalumi Announces New Retail Partner

The Dalumi Group is reinforcing its role as a key partner for diamond jewelry retailers around the globe through an alliance with Chinese retailer Joylong. Operating in the wealthy Zhejiang province, Joylong is a leading diamond jewelry chain with a large store network. Joylong will become the exclusive regional distributor of Dalumi's Swana diamonds. Swana, featuring a patented 89-facet cut, is marketed as the world’s first diamond "with a star inside". "Its celestial beauty and international appeal makes Swana the perfect product to support Joylong's ambitious growth strategy," says Yuval Kemp, head of marketing and business development at Dalumi.
Swana diamonds are created by cutting and polishing a brilliant round cut diamond to produce a crown and pavilion with 89 facets forming a large eight-pointed star. The Swana marketing campaign has included an official launch party, co-hosted with Lexus in the city of Taizhou, as well as a specially designed Swana concept store. The winner of a drawing will travel to Botswana to experience the process of creating a Swana diamond.
