NICHE magazine announced today the 2012 winners of the annual NICHE Awards for innovation in design and fine craftsmanship by American and Canadian artists.

In the professional category, the jurors consider technical merit, creativity and marketability. In the student category, only creativity and technical merit are considered. The NICHE Award winners in the jewelry categories are:
