(Press Release) Paul H. Gesswein & Co. Inc. has promoted Greg Gesswein to the position of president.

He is the fourth generation of the Gesswein family to manage the business, replacing his father, Dwight W. Gesswein, who has served as the president since 1993.

Dwight Gesswein will retain the position of vice chairman. He will, along with his brother Roger H. Gesswein Jr., Gesswein’s current chairman and CEO, continue to support the company in a broader advisory capacity.

Greg Gesswein started with the company in 2004 as West Coast sales representative. He most recently served as sales manager for the industrial products division.

Dwight Gesswein said: “Greg has always put his heart and soul into every task or project he has undertaken. His leadership skills combined with strong determination for a successful growing company is exactly what we need as we embark on our second 100 years of business.”

Roger H. Gesswein added: “Greg’s knowledge of the customers, markets and products combined with his experience in management and unending source of energy ensures that Gesswein will have the continuity of a strong management leader to take the firm to a successful and stable future.”

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
