NEW YORK, NY – Brazilian Jeweler H.Stern and Luxury Publisher Assouline recently hosted an event celebrating the book launch of “H.Stern.”

The celebration took place at H.Stern’s newly renovated U.S. flagship boutique located at 645 Fifth Avenue. Kicking off the start of New York Fashion Week, a crowd composed of New Yorkers and Brazilian guests had the chance to meet with the Assouline Family and H.Stern executives on the occasion of the book’s anticipated release. Throughout the evening, guests were invited to go through the “H.Stern” book and also try on pieces of jewelry featured in the book.

The book partnership with Assouline highlights H.Stern’s 70-year history, specifically under the current creative direction of Roberto Stern, and features notable collaborations and jewelry collections inspired by the worlds of art, architecture and culture. “H.Stern” will be available for purchase on Feb. 22 at Assouline boutiques worldwide and is available for pre-order on Assouline.com.

H.Stern is now led by artistic director Roberto Stern, building on the technical foundations laid down by his father and company founder, Hans Stern.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
