Jewelry Maker Marathon Acquires LeStage

(Press Release) ATTLEBORO FALLS, MA – Jewelry manufacturer Marathon Company, based in Attleboro, MA, has announced announce the acquisition of the LeStage Manufacturing Company, based in Attleboro Falls, MA.

Marathon is a family-owned business which has been manufacturing jewelry in the U.S. since 1897. LeStage, most recently known for its Cape Cod Jewelry and the LeStage Convertible Collection of bracelets and interchangeable clasps, is a family-owned domestic manufacturing business that began in 1863. Marathon will continue manufacturing LeStage products in the U.S.

"My brother Richard and I are delighted to entrust our legacy to Marathon,” says Garner LeStage, president of LeStage. “We feel as if we are handing the reins to our own progeny rather than selling the company.”

Marathon will be exhibiting at all major trade shows including RJO, IJO, CBG, JANY, JIS, SJTA and JCK Las Vegas.
