(Press Release)
Swiss Watch by JCK and the new Luxury Watch have announced that they will be sponsoring Time for Kids, the annual watch giveaway during the Jewelers for Children Facets of Hope event.

Every attendee at the Facets of Hope event, held at Mandalay Bay on June 5, will be given a chance to win one of several donated watches. All of the watches will come from participants in Swiss Watch and Luxury Watch.

“The Jewelers for Children Facets of Hope is an integral part of the activities during the JCK Market Week in Las Vegas,” says Yancy Weinrich, senior vice president JCK. “Our exhibitors have been very generous over the years supporting the Time for Kids activity. It only makes sense that a watch giveaway be sponsored by the largest U.S. watch show, held during the largest U.S. jewelry show.”

Time for Kids was begun in 2000, and this year will mark the 17th time that watch exhibitors have generously supported the activity. The watches will be on display throughout the Facets of Hope event, and sponsors will receive recognition on signage and during the program at the event.

“What a perfect way to build on our past success and reach a milestone with the support of the prestigious Swiss Watch and the new Luxury Watch events by JCK,” says David Rocha, executive director of Jewelers for Children.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
