GREAT NECK, NY – The Samuel B. Collection has announced a partnership in which founder Samuel Behnam has been joined by wife Neda Behnam, an award-winning goldsmith and designer in her own right, as co-designers. The husband-and-wife team will exclusively debut their first collaborative collection, “Petite Perfections,” at JCK Las Vegas from June 3-6, where the company will also introduce retail brand packages of its signature silver collections.

“Though separately we’ve built successful, decades-long careers in the jewelry industry, our design partnership will inspire and infuse The Samuel B. Collection with our collective energy and experience,” says Samuel, who founded the firm 34 years ago. “As well, Neda brings an intuitive sense of current trends in the fashion world, which is reflected in our debut collection.”

The Petite Perfections line features small pieces – necklaces, pendants, rings and others – crafted from yellow, white and rose golds, available in both 14K and 18K. A variety of show specials will be available for order exclusively to retailers attending JCK Las Vegas, where the Samuel B. Collection will be exhibiting in booth B-16147 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Both Samuel and Neda will be present to introduce their new line. Retailers unable to attend may contact sales@samuelb.com to receive information about Petite Perfections and other collections.

“Petite Perfections embodies youthfulness and taps into today’s most fashion-forward trends,” says Neda. “By offering fine design at an affordable price point, the line will help our retail partners attract the elusive millennial market.”

Attendees of JCK Las Vegas will also get a first look at Samuel B.’s new retail brand packages, including groupings of best-selling designs, displays and promotional products, created to help its retail partners promote and sell the Samuel B. brand.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
