(Press Release)
Wick and Greene, a specialty jewelry store located in Asheville, NC, will change its name to Spicer Greene. Eva-Michelle and Elliott Spicer, the owners of the family business, wrote the following letter announcing the rebranding effort.

We have some exciting news to share and we want for you, our industry partners, to be the first to know!

As most of you know, Eva-Michelle and Elliott Spicer are the 4th generation of the family business, Wick and Greene. With the changes in the industry, Wick and Greene must change as well. Wick and Greene will be closing for renovations and re-branding. We will be doing business as Spicer Greene Jewelers and our beautiful new store will be open in August 2016.

All legal, LLC, and contact information (except for email addresses) will stay the same. This is a rebranding for our marketing efforts. Our legal entity will remain Wick and Greene Jewelers, LLC and our tax ID will not change. We will remain located in the heart of downtown Asheville at 121 Patton Avenue and our phone number is still 828.253.1805. Our website will change in July to www.spicergreene.com as well as all of our email addresses to that domain.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Eva-Michelle via email at evamichelle@wickandgreene.com. Thank you for your support as we take this business into the next generation and the next 90 years!

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
