(Press Release)
NEW YORK, NY – WP Diamonds (WPD), the consumer division of White Pine Trading LLC, has announced a philanthropic partnership with Jewelers for Children (JFC), a non-profit dedicated to partnering with the jewelry industry to support children in need. The new partnership will enable retailers to purchase diamonds, jewelry and luxury watches from consumers through WPD, resulting in a donation to JFC from each purchase.

WP Diamonds’ collaboration with JFC aims to help retailers increase sales and gain new customers through increased customer loyalty, while providing a philanthropic dimension to each purchase. Retailers benefit from WPD’s resources as well as safety, security and pricing. The partnership with JFC gives WPD access to the charity’s network of jewelry retail stores across the country, helping to drive new customer relationships.

“WP Diamonds is a trusted name in the jewelry industry and offers a turnkey solution for retail jewelers to offer buy back options to their customers,” says David Rocha, executive director of Jewelers for Children. “As retailers look to increase their philanthropic activities, having a built in contribution to Jewelers for Children helps to make the partnership even more enticing for participants.”

JFC will promote the new partnership with WPD to its network of more than 1,500 retailers. WPD will continue to cultivate its relationship with JFC through future partnerships and initiatives, including a national tour featuring events in major cities nationwide.

Interested retailers can contact retail@whitepinediamonds.com for more information and how to enroll in the program.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
