Trollbeads Names New CEO for North America

He has the “right entrepreneurial mindset.”

Trollbeads has named Robin Aagaard as CEO of its North American operations, Accessories reports.

He’s taking on the role previously held by Brenda Berger, who was named chief executive of Trollbeads U.S. about three years ago.

Aagaard is a son of Lise and Peter Aagaard, founders of the company.

Aagaard helped to set up the North American office in Princeton, NJ, Accessories notes.

Trollbeads Global CEO Jan Stig Andersen was quoted saying Aagaard is “the perfect person to take the North American business to the next level.”

“He has been involved in all significant areas of business development within Trollbeads for the past several years,” Andersen said. “In addition, he has the right entrepreneurial mindset, extensive experience and the relevant background.”

Trollbeads was founded in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1976. Today the brand can be found in more than 30 countries. It has grown to include over 90 designers and more than 600 different beads
