I DON’T THINK THERE has been a year that Elle Fanning hasn’t be the best dressed or one of the best dressed celebrities at the Cannes Film Festival. Since she started attending the festival at age 19 in 2016, she has always brought her A-game and some of the most head-turning gowns and jewelry. Her dreamy and elegant looks come from some of the most renowned houses you could imagine.

She never looks overdone or overly styled, but more like a princess, reminding me a little of Grace Kelly in her early years before she became a real princess and also in her early years at Monaco.

For the 2023 awards opening night premiere Jeanne du Barry, she wore a strapless Alexander McQueen — another winning gown — with a Cartier Tradition Perles de Diamants necklace, circa 1999, in 18K white gold and diamonds, Cartier Tradition Ruban bracelet, circa 1930 in platinum and diamonds and an Indomptables de Cartier ring in 18K white gold, emeralds and diamonds.

But while we are swooning over this look, let’s recall some of the other styles that put her on all the best dressed lists.

In 2022, she wore Chopard’s diamond bow in the hair, along with a diamond heart necklace. Here she’s shown with a three-tier diamond bracelet with a pale pink Giorgio Armani gown.

In 2019 she looked radiant in Chopard diamond earrings, a heart-shaped Chopard ring and a peach Gucci gown with a stunning pansy at the waist.

There were the years in between, but you get the picture.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
