The Edge and Edge Retail Academy Present a Jewelry Retailer Conference

(Press Release) SHELTON, Connecticut – On Oct. 16-18, retail jewelry software creator The Edge and Edge Retail Academy, a retail jewelry business consulting company, will host “The Competing in the New World of Retail: Technology + Strategy = Success Conference”.

The conference, which takes place at The Edge’s corporate headquarters in Shelton, is open to over 3,000 Edge software users and will cover topics critically important for today’s retail jeweler. Presentations will focus on business management, financial strategies, marketing and staff training.

“Both the Edge and Edge Retail Academy are committed to helping jewelry retailers anticipate and successfully manage the challenges they face in an increasingly competitive and evolving marketplace,” said Dick Abbott, co-founder of The Edge. “Together we provide the tools and strategies necessary to thrive in the demanding luxury retail category.”

The cost is $395 per person, and $295 for a second attendee from the same store. The conference will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, with lunch included. The first day will wrap up with a cocktail reception, and the second day will finish with cocktails and dinner.

The conference will offer a curated selection of topics and will feature some of Edge Retail Academy’s top industry experts. Presentations include “Profit Does Not Equal Cash Flow”, “Effectively Getting Rid of Aged Inventory”, “Recruiting Top Talent”, and “Selling to the Internet Shopper”.
