The technology was launched in 2009.

(Press Release) HOD HASHARON, ISRAEL – Singapore Exchange Mainboard-listed Sarine Technologies Ltd. announced that its Galaxy family of scanning and inclusion mapping systems in 2017 scanned more than 10 million stones worldwide.

Since its release into the market in late 2009, Sarine’s internal inclusion mapping technology, as embodied in the Galaxy family of systems, today encompassing the Galaxy, Galaxy XL, Galaxy Ultra, Solaris and Meteor products, has provided automated, accurate, comprehensive and fast inclusion mapping data for rough diamonds in all major diamond processing centers wordwide. This allows computer-assisted diamond planning based also on clarity, in addition to cut and carat weight, as was previously the norm. The Galaxy family of systems has revolutionized the planning and production processes by maximizing polished diamond yield while expediting the manufacturing cycle and reducing human error.

As announced on July 2, 2015, half a dozen years passed before reaching the milestone of having cumulatively scanned 10 million stones through inclusion mapping systems worldwide. At that time, average quarterly throughput was only 1 million stones. Sarine reports that it has scanned over 30 million stones cumulatively since the technology’s launch.

According to the company: “We believe that as we continue to deliver additional systems worldwide, including new upgrades and models scheduled for 2018, and as we continue to aggressively counter illicit infringement of our intellectual property, we will continue to expand the use of our technology and the setting of new records of annual usage.”

David Block, CEO of Sarine, stated, “Sarine’s staff worldwide is jubilant at having achieved this significant milestone. Having without doubt proven its value, the Galaxy solution has uniquely propelled the industry to a higher level of quality. By scanning 10 million rough stones in 2017, our loyal customer base has clearly expressed, once again, confidence in our cutting-edge technology. We will continue our commitment to developing and delivering the highest-quality inclusion mapping solutions, including the new Meteorite system to be launched shortly and additional upgrades to be launched later in 2018 with further technological breakthroughs.”

Closing With Confidence: How Bailey's Fine Jewelry Achieved Outstanding Results With Wilkerson

When Trey Bailey, President and CEO of Bailey's Fine Jewelry, decided to close the Crabtree location in Raleigh, North Carolina after 15 years, he knew the decision needed to be handled with intention and professionalism. The goal was clear: exit the location while maintaining financial strength and honoring the store's legacy. Having worked with Wilkerson successfully in the past, Bailey understood the value of their comprehensive approach. "They understood both the emotional and financial sides of the store closing sale," Trey explains. "Their reputation for professionalism, results and care made it a very easy decision." The results exceeded expectations. Wilkerson helped Bailey's sell through significant inventory while maintaining the dignity of the closing process. "They don't just run a sale, they help close a chapter in the best way possible," Bailey says, strongly recommending Wilkerson to any jeweler facing a similar transition.
