The group has expanded its outreach.

(Press Release) Jewelers of America is promoting holiday gift ideas and JA member jewelers through a variety of nationwide public relations and marketing activities.

The trade association has expanded its outreach to consumers in advance of the holiday season through a multi-city television tour, a national digital advertising campaign, email promotions, online gift guides and an ammolite sweepstakes sponsored by KORITE.

JA spokesperson Amanda Gizzi appeared on over 30 morning shows nationwide on Nov. 29 to showcase holiday gift ideas, including gifts that give back and budget-friendly pieces. The segments featured JA supplier members’ jewelry and reiterated the importance of shopping with a reputable jeweler this holiday, like those who are members of Jewelers of America.

The following JA supplier members were featured on television as part of the holiday media tour: Alex Woo, Claudia Endler, Coomi, Diamond Empowerment Fund, Diamonds Unleashed, Gumuchian, KORITE, Lashbrook, Lika Behar, Meghna Jewels, Meredith Marks and Sandy Leong.

“Jewelers of America is heavily focused on increasing consumer excitement for buying fine jewelry, and our holiday promotions are putting jewelry in the spotlight as a top gift along with spotlighting our members store as a gift-giving destination,” said Amanda Gizzi, JA director of public relations and events.

“The Amazing Ammolite Jewelry Sweepstakes” sponsored by Korite ran in conjunction with the holiday promotion, which directed consumers to JA members’ stores and encouraged them to learn more about ammolite while increasing their desire for fine jewelry.

She Wanted to Spend More Time with Her Kids. She Called Wilkerson.

Your children are precious. More precious than gold? Absolutely! Just ask Lesley Ann Davis, owner of Lesley Ann Jewels, an independent jewelry store that — until the end of 2023 — had quite a following in Houston, Texas. To spend more time with her four sons, all in high school, she decided to close her store. Luckily, she was familiar with Wilkerson and called them as soon as she knew she wanted to move on to bigger, better and more family-focused things. Was she happy with her decision? Yes, she was. Says Davis, “Any owner looking to make that life change, looking to retire, looking to close, looking for a pause in their career, I would recommend Wilkerson. Hands down!”
