(PRESS RELEASE) The Accredited Gemologists Association (AGA) announced that applications are now open for its scholarship and grant programs. These initiatives are designed to support individuals worldwide who are pursuing education and advancement in the field of gemology.

AGA awards educational scholarships to qualified candidates on the basis of both merit and financial need. Individuals committed to a career in gemology and seeking assistance to further their education are strongly encouraged to apply.

The AGA Gemological Scholarship Program is currently accepting applications through 11:59 PM (Pacific Time) on May 15, 2026.

In alignment with its mission to promote gemological education and research, the AGA also offers the Gemological Research Grant, which provides funding of up to $10,000 for approved research projects, as authorized by the AGA Board of Governors. Apply Here

Applications for the Gemological Research Grant are now being accepted and will remain open until June 15, 2027 at 11:59 PM (Pacific Time).
