Accutron and Hudson Whiskey Unveil Second Limited Edition Blend

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — Accutron and Hudson Whiskey continue their longstanding partnership in celebration of the brand’s birthday with the launch of the Accutron 62nd Anniversary blend.

As energized and electrified as New York, this new Limited Edition blend fuses New York State ingredients with New York City ingenuity for rich, grain-forward flavor to salute a NY-born and bred icon, that changed the way the world told time.

Another iconic American brand and pioneer of the American craft whiskey movement, Hudson Whiskey, celebrates Accutron with this second commemorative launch, limited to 144 bottles. Distilled from a combination of corn and rye grown in New York and mellowed in American oak, this whiskey delivers a bold, full-bodied character with rich notes of vanilla, cinnamon, and lightly salted caramel.

“I was very excited to collaborate with Accutron for a second time. When we began discussing ideas, it was clear that everyone wanted to do something new and unique for both brands. After tasting nine different blends – never before sampled outside our team – a Bourbon and Rye blend was crowned the winner. The blend has complexity and depth that nicely represents the heritage of Accutron and Hudson Whiskey. We look forward to future opportunities to create with Accutron.” – Brendan O’Rourke, chief distiller at Hudson Whiskey.

Accutron originally partnered with Hudson Whiskey when the brand returned in 2020 and looked to other forward-thinking brands with a rich American heritage and innovative expertise to collaborate with for the special moment. Hudson Whiskey is the first distillery in New York since prohibition, and only uses high-quality grains from New York family farmers.

“The whiskey aging process cannot be rushed; a blend must go through the proper time and stages to become special and distinctive, says Michael Benavente, managing director of Luxury Brands at Citizen Watch America. “In the case of this limited Accutron x Hudson Whiskey blend, much like the creation of a watch, it is the fusion of many separate components to engineer in the end, the perfect balance of accuracy and aesthetics.”

The 750ml bottles of this single feature a dedicated label celebrating the anniversary and are available upon special request.

In the brand’s official podcast, The Accutron Show, a series of conversations about Americana culture and its evolution and expressions through time, Accutron recently invited Brendan O’Rourke, Site Leader and Chief Distiller at Tuthilltown Spirits, producers of Hudson Whiskey to discuss the partnership and newly released blend.

Family Legacy, New Chapter: How Wilkerson Turns 89 Years of History Into Future Success

After 89 years of serving the Albany community, Harold Finkle Your Jeweler faced a pivotal decision. For third-generation owner Justin Finkle, the demanding hours of running a small business were taking precious time away from his young family. "After 23 years, I decided this was the time for me," Finkle explains. But closing a business with nearly nine decades of inventory and customer relationships isn't something easily managed alone. Wilkerson's comprehensive approach transformed this challenging transition into a remarkable success story. Their strategic planning handled everything from advertising and social media to inventory management and staffing — elements that would overwhelm most jewelers attempting to navigate a closing sale independently. The results speak volumes. "Wilkerson gave us three different tiers of potential goals," Finkle notes. "We've reached that third tier, that highest goal already, and we still have two weeks left of the sale." The partnership didn't just meet financial objectives—it exceeded them ahead of schedule.
