Alpina Celebrates 2nd Year as SUN ‘n FUN Fly-In & Expo Official Timekeeper

(PRESS RELEASE) LAKELAND, FL – This past week, Alpina appeared at the annual SUN ’n FUN Fly-In and Expo as the Official Timekeeper alongside Global Brand Ambassador, champion aviator, Michael Goulian for the second year in a row.

For the brand’s second appearance at the annual air show, Alpina continued to highlight their partnership with Goulian through various activations and activities. This year for the first time, Alpina offered, “sky dreamers” the opportunity to experience a one-on-one aerobatic flight with Michael Goulian in an Alpina branded airplane. The participants consisted of children, fans, YouTubers and press who were able to have a unique experience brought to them by Alpina in an effort to highlight the brand’s passion behind the air space. Alpina also partnered with two retailers, International Diamond Center (IDC) and Banyan Pilot Shop, to promote the brand on-site and allow for attendees to shop select Alpina novelties, offering watch purchasers to enter for a chance to win a flight with Goulian.

Alpina recently announced its continuation of their partnership with Michael Goulian, showcasing the brand’s rich history in the flight industry through their pilot timepieces. Recently, the brand unveiled a Michael Goulian 99MG Limited Edition Startimer Pilot timepiece, which he wears throughout his areal performances. The brand’s participation at the SUN ‘n FUN Fly-In and Expo was the first activation with Goulian in 2018, where he received Sun ‘n Fun’s 2018 Path of Fame Award for his volunteer efforts to build a brighter future for men and women in the aviation industry.

When There’s No Succession Plan, Call Wilkerson

Bob Wesley, owner of Robert C. Wesley Jewelers in Scottsdale, Ariz., was a third-generation jeweler. When it was time to enjoy life on the other side of the counter, he weighed his options.
