THE 2026 CRITICS CHOICE Awards launched the 2026 awards season with a mix of delicate and bold diamond looks and plenty of different earring styles, but the pieces that stood out most were those that were either archival from the 1950s or paid homage to the Art Deco period. The styling offered both a feeling of old Hollywood glamour and modern-day statement jewels.

Amanda Seyfried donned a Tiffany & Co. Archives diamond necklace and watch that were from the mid-twentieth century. The necklace was a mix of round and baguette diamonds and the watch featured baguette diamonds in a geometric pattern. Both felt as relevant today as when they were designed.

Jessie Buckley and Emilia Jones both wore pieces from Boucheron. While there were plenty of dainty drops, linear and chandelier styles, Buckley’s Lavallière Diamants pendant earrings, from the Histoire de Style, Art Déco High Jewelry collection, paved with diamonds, on white gold, with onyx and black lacquer stole the spotlight when it came to the best look in earrings of the evening.

Jones looked stunning in an all-black custom Thom Browne corset top and maxi-skirt with the Lavallière Diamants choker necklace, from Histoire de Style, the Art Déco High Jewelry collection, paved with diamonds, with black lacquer on white gold.

If these looks are any indication of what’s to come during the next few months, then this year’s red carpet will be both inspirational and aspirational.
