THE 2024 ACADEMY AWARD nominated best supporting actress for Barbie wore a special Pomellato necklace with her sparkly Atelier Versace gown in pink that wasn’t the traditional bubble gum color associated with the film. Instead, it was chic and the perfect backdrop for the jewels, which included the Pomellato Castello necklace that combined inspirations from a 1972 archival choker, Pomellato’s design tradition and the city’s most commanding monument. According to a press statement put out by the company, “The design team re-interpreted the original choker to create the Castello necklace with a neo-mediaeval look. The unconventional setting of the gems creates sharp angles reminiscent of the rusticated stone masonry of the façade of the Castello, resulting in a new type of pavé that Pomellato has named ‘bossage.'”

The necklace features 18K rose gold plaques joined together by chunky diamond-set links and is adorned with more than 28 carats of baguette, princess and brilliant-cut diamonds. Its five reverse-set rubellites have a total carat weight of over 29 carats.

"They understood both the emotional and financial sides of the store closing sale," Trey explains. "Their reputation for professionalism, results and care made it a very easy decision."
