Anne Hathaway and Priyanka Chopra Jonas Stand Out in Bulgari at the 2025 Met Gala

GLOBAL AMBASSADORS FOR Bulgari Anne Hathaway and Priyanka Chopra Jonas both arrived at the 2025 Met Gala with fantastical jewelry encircling their necks, fully embodying the term “statement piece.”

I don’t think I have ever seen Hathaway look anything but chic, glamorous and perfectly bejeweled at red carpet events. She opted for a toned-down, elegant take on the dress code of the gala, “Tailored For You.” The theme proposed that guests attend wearing imaginative takes on menswear tailoring and suitings, based on the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute’s exhibition “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” Hathaway did so with a Carolina Herrera crisp white shirt and a black and silver horizontally striped maxi skirt, along with her hair worn high in a ponytail. While the outfit was in keeping with the code of the evening, the necklace, named The Bulgari Cosmic Vault, bespoke pure opulence and luxury and featured diamonds twinkling around a 123.35-carat sugarloaf sapphire in a deep intense blue. It was one of the standout looks of the evening.

The other was the Magnus Emerald Necklace that Chopra Jonas wore with Balmain Couture. She looked radiant giving a nod to old Hollywood and dandy tailoring in the polka dot halter gown worn with a matching jacket with a nipped waist. But it was one of the largest and most exquisite precious stones in the world, an emerald of 241.06 carats — the largest faceted stone ever set by Bulgari — that created the drama around her look.

A press email regarding both necklaces, sent out by the renowned brand, read, “Bulgari has chosen the exclusive Met Gala event as the perfect stage to unveil its latest magnificent chapter in the world of High Jewelry with a worldwide preview of select creations from the upcoming Polychroma High Jewelry collection.” Zendaya, another ambassador for the company, wore a brooch from Polychroma. The collection will officially be unveiled at the end of May.
