Beyonce Lights Up Instagram in Emeralds by Lorraine Schwartz

The music icon is serene in emerald green worthy of a queen.

SINGER, RAPPER, SONGWRITER, actress and all-around human luminary Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter recently blessed the internet with a series of Instagram photos featuring some truly jaw-dropping jewelry.

Our favorite of these jewels was an absolutely luscious Lorraine Schwartz emerald suite that Queen Bey paired with a plunging halter-neck gown that radiated Old Hollywood style glamour.

The necklace is multi-tiered, featuring two magnificent rows of diamond swags dripping with verdant emeralds. The earrings are of a similar style, with cascades of diamonds that begin and end with large emerald drops.

There is a whisper of controlled chaos about the design, with diamonds that overlap and emerald placement that doesn’t quite follow a rigid pattern. The slight wildness is emblematic of Lorraine Schwartz’s designs and keeps this extremely high-carat look feeling fresh.

Despite the fact that we got three Instagram slideshows with multiple photos each, there is no clear view of Queen Bey’s hands. The slinky skirt of her knockout dress has pockets and Beyoncé couldn’t resist tucking her fingers inside for several shots (the stars, they’re just like us!). We’re pretty sure she’s rocking an enormous emerald ring on her left hand, but we had to zoom in and squint to catch a glimpse.

Many modern celebs shy away from matching suites like these, but Beyoncé has reminded us why greats like Elizabeth Taylor also loved this style: the look is exquisite, regal without being stuffy, sensual without being tawdry, luxurious without feeling vulgar. In a word: perfect.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
