Thanks to a boyfriend who made his own engagement ring, there may be a new standard of romance to which men are held. Cosmopolitan took notice of the ambitious undertaking when the boyfriend posted photos of his progress on Imgur along with the end result shown here, saying the whole project cost him less than $300, though it took an awful lot of practice to develop the skill required. “She digs it,” the boyfriend says. “If we get direct sunlight in a window, the thing is shiny enough she can screw with the dogs.”
