Brilliant Earth Announces Its High Jewelry Collection Drop: The Solstice Collection

(PRESS RELEASE) SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Brilliant Earth, a global leader in ethically-sourced bridal and fine jewelry, announces the launch of its newest and exclusive designs, the Solstice Collection. Launching this week, the 16-piece collection that has been hand-drawn in the San Francisco design studio and brought to life by the award-winning, in-house design team, offers a range of statement necklaces, cuff bracelets, bold and intricate drop earrings as well as an extension of bridal and engagement rings, all eye-catching heirlooms to be cherished for a lifetime.

Inspired by the shimmer of winter light, Brilliant Earth crafted the evergreen collection with minimal metal allowing the lab-grown diamonds to take center stage. The Solstice Collection reimagines a winter wonderland and the emotive joy evoked by blankets of fresh fallen snow, the melting icicles, clusters of ice, and light shimmering throughout the season. In its entirety, each piece in the Solstice Collection resurrects classic styles and uniquely captures the sentiment of the season through the placement of micro-pavé and melee diamonds, star settings, use of negative space, and complex patterns to achieve various nature-inspired designs.

“There’s something captivating about snow catching light in the wind, or the natural mosaics found in an icy stream. Everything from diamond size and placement was strategically considered to reflect these ethereal moments. Rarely do you see pieces where metal takes a backseat and lets the diamond lead; this collection is designed to do exactly that and make the wearer feel as if they are draped in diamonds,” says Ryan Atlas, Product Development Director.

The finished jewelry pieces are exclusively lab diamonds. The engagement rings in the collection have the option of utilizing natural Beyond Conflict Free Diamonds which have been selected for its ethical and environmentally responsible origins which are also utilized in the bands within the collection.

From glamorous icicle silhouette earrings to shimmering pavé bands that imitates light reflections on clustered ice or fresh snow, the collection moves away from trends and highlights timeless white metals and diamond tones that are beloved to Brilliant Earth’s core customer. Designs like the Aomori Diamond Engagement Ring underscore the intricacies that characterize the entire collection. The glistening micro-pavé set diamonds adorn the band are hand placed in a complex pattern totaling ~172 diamonds for a look of movement and grace, the lustrous claw prongs cradle the center stone in the engagement ring. The collection also includes the brand’s most expensive item to date, a red-carpet ready necklace retailing for $99,990 which features a total of 75 Carats featuring a flurry of round, marquise, and pear-shaped diamonds to achieve a delicate yet bold look.

The Solstice Collection ranges from $1,995-$100,000 and is available to purchase exclusively at select Brilliant Earth Showrooms and online at www.BrilliantEarth.com.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
