(PRESS RELEASE) Bulova and The Latin Recording Academy to continue their longstanding partnership at the 21st Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards taking place on Nov. 19. To celebrate this year’s collaboration, Bulova and the Latin Recording Academy have announced a digital content series spotlighting this year’s 2020 “Best New Artist” nominees. The series, which began on Nov. 5 via The Latin Recording Academy social media platforms, features Anuel AA, Rauw Alejandro, Mike Bahía, Cazzu, Conociendo Rusia, Soy Emilia, Kurt, Nicki Nicole, Nathy Peluso, Pitizion and WOS.

The series will explore the individual stories of each artist, aligned with Bulova’s theme of “History of Firsts.” The artists will be featured in dedicated videos recorded in Spanish with English subtitles. Each video will feature an interview with the participating artists, where they will share memorable firsts in their career, along with an exclusive musical performance and an unboxing of a Bulova Latin GRAMMY timepiece.

Along with the celebration of another year of the partnership, Bulova is unveiling two new Latin GRAMMY timepieces called the Latin GRAMMY Gemini, a new curved tonneau design. The distinctive asymmetrical rose gold-tone stainless steel case showcases a black signature Futuro edge to edge curved metalized crystal with a black dial and rose gold-tone accents. The black silicone strap features the iconic Latin GRAMMY gramophone on the front, as well as on the case back, which also showcases the platinum colored logo to commemorate the 21st Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards. The watch features a three-hand quartz movement, deployant buckle with pushers, and water resistance to 30 meters. The two timepieces differ in size with the larger being 40.5MM in diameter and the smaller 30.5MM in diameter, both available for $495.

Always looking to support women and “History of Firsts,” Bulova will also gift this year’s class of Leading Ladies a beautiful Rubaiyat timepiece at the Latin Recording Academy Leading Ladies of Entertainment Event taking place in the days leading up to The Biggest Night in Latin Music, on November 17th. The brand’s Rubaiyat collection is one dedicated to ladies, masterfully articulating and celebrating empowered femininity.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
