Bulova Expands Rubaiyat Collection

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — Legend has it that in 1924, Bulova unveiled its first full line of ladies’ wristwatches. Today the Rubaiyat heritage has been reinvented, fusing modern design with longstanding roots in the art of true craftsmanship. The brand is proud to add to its regal Rubaiyat Collection that honors Bulova’s first expression of a lady’s timepiece, first introduced in 1917.

The iconic Rubaiyat makes a bold fashion statement in a new 40mm case size. Offering an elegant and understated women’s classic dress watch with silver-tone stainless steel case design, the new Rubaiyat features the signature synthetic blue spinel cabochon crown at the 12 o’clock position. The 3-hand opaline effect dial is detailed with Roman Numerals and stick markers and is encased in a domed sapphire crystal, set on a silver-tone stainless steel bracelet with deployant buckle. The case back prominently features Bulova’s hallmark “Goddess of Time” insignia, originally used in advertising in the same era as the introduction of the original Rubaiyat – a special detail of the collection. Bulova’s Rubaiyat Collection masterfully articulates and celebrates each pillar of empowered femininity—seductive beauty, quiet strength, delicate fluidity and freedom of self-expression.

“Bulova has a storied history designing some of the most popular ladies’ timepieces of their time,” says Jeffrey Cohen, President of Citizen Watch America. “It is only right that
we carry on this legacy with the same craftsmanship and innovation in the Rubaiyat collection.

Offering a clean and contemporary aesthetic, the new, larger Rubaiyat is a true wardrobe staple with a sleek and sophisticated look that appeals to any refined, individual style. Available for purchase now, the new Bulova Rubaiyat ladies’ timepiece retails for $595.

Ready to Relocate? Wilkerson Makes Your Move Seamless

When Brockhaus Jewelry decided to leave their longtime West Main Street storefront for a standalone building elsewhere in Norman, Oklahoma, owners John Brockhaus and Brad Shipman faced a familiar challenge: how to efficiently reduce inventory before the big move. Their solution? Partnering with liquidation specialists Wilkerson for a second time. "We'd already experienced Wilkerson's professionalism during a previous sale," Shipman recalls. "But their approach to our relocation event truly impressed us. They strategically prioritized our existing pieces while tactfully introducing complementary merchandise as inventory levels decreased." The carefully orchestrated sale didn't just meet targets—it shattered them. Asked if they'd endorse Wilkerson to industry colleagues planning similar transitions—whether relocating, retiring, or refreshing their space—both partners were emphatic in their approval. "The entire process was remarkably straightforward," Shipman notes. "Wilkerson delivered a well-structured program, paired us with a knowledgeable advisor, and managed every detail flawlessly from concept to completion."
