(PRESS RELEASE) MAHWAH, NJ — CED 1976 LLC, the company that introduced the Jewelers unBLOCKed program, announces its affiliation with Brilliant Jeweler to launch an extended warranty program.

CED 1976, LLC takes pride in offering innovative insurance solutions to the jewelry industry. This relationship with Brilliant Jeweler joins its other products: Jewelers unBLOCKed, the industry’s premier jewelers block program; and Collectors Edition, its customized insurance program for private clients and collectors.

“We have added another great program by partnering with Brilliant Jeweler,” said Patricia K. Low, CEO of CED 1976, LLC. “We believe that the warranty program is a perfect fit with our portfolio of services that are customized to help our clients protect their businesses, as well as enabling them to offer varied risk solutions to their customers.”

“We are very excited to be working with CED and their customers to offer extended warranties. It is a great new opportunity for independent jewelers,” says Jim Mormando, managing partner of Jewelry Protection Experts and creator of the Brilliant Jeweler program. “We credit CED’s vision, once again, for acquiring the best solution possible for their customers.”

Jewelry extended warranty is a $3 billion-dollar industry that benefits jewelers in terms of customer loyalty. It allows independent jewelers to capture benefits to compete with large jewelry chains.

Plans can be offered to cover every aspect of jewelry ownership including maintenance, damage, restoring and refinishing, stone loss and sizing.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
