Miansai, a jewelry brand with a Hollywood following that includes Cameron Diaz and Reese Witherspoon, has opened its first location on the West Coast in Los Angeles, Hollywood Reporter writes. The article says that Miansai has an “instantly recognizable aesthetic,” describing the collection as having a “coastal feel, featuring anchors, fishing hooks, classic colors and sleek, simple lines. The jewelry is handcrafted with precious metals, and the pieces also incorporate maritime-grade rope and fine Italian leather.” The store will debut with the brand’s spring/summer collection.

Bob Wesley, owner of Robert C. Wesley Jewelers in Scottsdale, Ariz., was a third-generation jeweler. When it was time to enjoy life on the other side of the counter, he weighed his options.
