IF YOU WEREN’T ALREADY convinced that chokers are a trend that will continue to influence jewelry, then all you had to do was look at the nominated actresses and presenters at the 2026 Academy Awards — Chase Infiniti, Ginnifer Goodwin and Kristen Wiig. They all wore drool-worthy styles that stood out among the best necklaces of the evening. We have seen renowned jewelers’ chokers on the red carpet and high fashion versions on the ready-to-wear and Haute Couture runways for a few years now, as well as in the design studios of independent designers. And, at the close of the awards season, it was refreshing to see new and inspiring variations on this theme.

Chase Infiniti, who has looked stunning at all awards shows she attended this season, shone in the De Beers London Metamorphosis ‘Summer’ Diamond Choker Necklace set in 18K yellow gold, and white gold, set with 57.15 TCW of diamonds.

Kristen Wiig matched her Boucheron choker to her Elie Saab gown. It was a rich mix of materials and golds in the brand’s Quatre Classique necklace in a combination of yellow, pink and white gold, set with brown PVD and pave diamonds.

Chokers and torques are a must for the holiday season and beyond, so if you haven’t sourced them yet, there are myriad styles from which to choose from renowned houses, big brands and independent designers.
