CHRIS PLOOF Rebrands – “Hand Forged in the USA”

(PRESS RELEASE) LEOMINSTER, MA — Chris Ploof, owner and designer of Chris Ploof Designs, announced his official rebranding with the launch of a new logo including the tagline “Hand Forged in the USA.” The master jeweler is focusing his eponymous brand on his commitment to sole authorship, taking recycled metals and forging them into distinctive patterned metals that he and his team then use to create luxury jewelry. All versions of the new logo include the tagline, and some iterations also include an image of an anvil to visually signal the brand’s hand craftsmanship. The logo and tagline are now featured prominently on his website and will be used in all marketing materials.

“I love to create with my hands,” says Ploof. “Most people never get to see all that we do behind-the-scenes. We bring in raw metals, predominantly recycled, and literally forge them in fire with blow torches and manual presses, then pound them with hammers or cut them on lathes to make really distinctive patterns that we can turn into one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry. It’s an unusual fusion of traditional blacksmithing with modern engineering. I wanted our branding to feature that proudly and prominently. Plus, we do it all with sustainable business practices in our solar-powered Massachusetts studio.”

The new logo draws attention to the fact that Ploof not only makes jewelry; he also makes the metals that he uses to create the jewelry. The tagline further reinforces that it all happens in his studio in Central Massachusetts. His team of artisans hand-craft each and every piece here in the USA, allowing retailers to avoid issues with shipping delays, tariffs, and language barriers often encountered with international suppliers.
