(PRESS RELEASE) CITIZEN Watch is releasing two new models under its CITIZEN Series 8 collection of mechanical watches that combine practicality and functionality with modern and sporty designs. These new 880 mechanical models are equipped with a GMT function and magnetic resistance.

With their modern, dynamic styling, Series 8 watches suit any scene, from business occasions to casual days off. The brand’s mechanical watches provide a range of practical features, including magnetic resistance to protect them against magnetic fields in everyday life, and a supremely comfortable fit. Two new 880 Mechanical models with a GMT function are now being added to the line-up.

The new 880 Mechanical models are equipped with a GMT function that allows the wearer to see the time in up to three time zones when the bi-directional rotating bezel is used. This new function is perfect for active lifestyles, combined with a modern, dynamic design. The dial design is inspired by the skyline of Tokyo at night with its countless skyscrapers and windows of different sizes, creating a modern twist on traditional check patterns long used in Japan to represent prosperity. The case features both mirror finishes and brushed finishes with multiple patterns. The simple facets and the clean, straight lines combine to produce an eye-catchingly solid design. The bracelet tapers boldly away from the case to create an on-trend, modern look.

The transparent case back reveals the beating heart of the watch. The movement also has magnetic resistance to maintain the accuracy of the watch by reducing the effects of magnetic fields produced by smartphones and tablets in our digital society. High-spec features include average daily accuracy of -10 to +20 seconds and a running time of approx. 50 hours.

Ready to Relocate? Wilkerson Makes Your Move Seamless

When Brockhaus Jewelry decided to leave their longtime West Main Street storefront for a standalone building elsewhere in Norman, Oklahoma, owners John Brockhaus and Brad Shipman faced a familiar challenge: how to efficiently reduce inventory before the big move. Their solution? Partnering with liquidation specialists Wilkerson for a second time. "We'd already experienced Wilkerson's professionalism during a previous sale," Shipman recalls. "But their approach to our relocation event truly impressed us. They strategically prioritized our existing pieces while tactfully introducing complementary merchandise as inventory levels decreased." The carefully orchestrated sale didn't just meet targets—it shattered them. Asked if they'd endorse Wilkerson to industry colleagues planning similar transitions—whether relocating, retiring, or refreshing their space—both partners were emphatic in their approval. "The entire process was remarkably straightforward," Shipman notes. "Wilkerson delivered a well-structured program, paired us with a knowledgeable advisor, and managed every detail flawlessly from concept to completion."
