CITIZEN Watch Launches UNITE With BLUE Collection

(PRESS RELEASE) CITIZEN Watch is releasing a new limited edition UNITE with BLUE themed timepiece collection, featuring structural color dials with shades of deep blue inspired by the calm, glittering sea.

Experience the deep blue tides with the UNITE with BLUE collection. Inspired by the concept of a “Sea of Silence,” the structural color dials produce subtle color changes in response to light reflecting off the surface.

The pigment-free ink on the dial utilizes light reflecting off the surface of the microstructures in the ink to create a range of hues and tones. These unique dials were made possible thanks to Eco-Drive technology that utilizes light as a form of clean energy to measure the passage of time. Four new models are being released across a range of Citizen collections including ATTESA, Promaster, and PCAT, each utilizing different dial designs and processing techniques to create their own unique expressions of the ever-changing moods of the sea. Two new models from Citizen L and xC also feature diamonds representing air bubbles rising from the depths of the ocean.

Honoring a Legacy: How Smith & Son Jewelers Exceeded Every Goal With Wilkerson

When Andrew Smith decided to close the Springfield, Massachusetts location of Smith & Son Jewelers, the decision came down to family. His father was retiring after 72 years in the business, and Andrew wanted to spend more time with his children and soon-to-arrive grandchildren. For this fourth-generation jeweler whose great-grandfather founded the company in 1918, closing the 107-year-old Springfield location required the right partner. Smith chose Wilkerson, and the experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. "Everything they told me was 100% true," Smith says. "The ease and use of all their tools was wonderful." The consultants' knowledge and expertise proved invaluable. Smith and his father set their own financial goal, but Wilkerson proposed three more ambitious targets. "We thought we would never make it," Smith explains. "We were dead wrong. We hit our first goal, second goal and third goal. It was amazing." Smith's recommendation is emphatic: "I would never be able to do what they did by myself."
