This new 880 mechanical model features striking gold colors and is equipped with a GMT function and magnetic resistance.
The design of this new limited-edition model is inspired by the warm golden rays of the autumn sun in Japan. The case, band, and dial feature different shades of gold to create a gentle but eye-catching impression that fuses together autumn hues in Japan with the modern styling of Series 8. The dial has an embossed pattern that brings to mind the patterns of light and shade created by long autumn grasses illuminated by the warm glow of sunset. The 880 Mechanical model watch is characterized by its distinctive two-piece center case design which is utilized to accentuate the three-dimensional beauty of the watch created by multiple clean, straight lines and an appealing contrast between mirror and brushed finishes.
It is also equipped with a GMT function that allows the wearer to see the time in up to three time zones when the bi-directional rotating bezel is used.
The case back is transparent, revealing the beating heart of the watch, and the movement has magnetic resistance to maintain the accuracy of the watch by reducing the effects of magnetic fields produced by smartphones and tablets in our digital society. High-spec features include average daily accuracy of -10 to +20 seconds and a running time of approx. 50 hours.
