(Press Release) On Aug. 21, the U.S. will fall under the path of a total solar eclipse. During the eclipse, the sun will disappear behind the moon and turn the daylight into twilight. At the same time, the temperature will drop rapidly, as the rare total solar eclipse sweeps the nation. For about two-and-a-half minutes, day will turn into night and people who are in the “path of totality” will be part of an unforgettable experience as the sun’s corona reveals itself in grandeur.

Fascinated by this event, and located directly in the path of totality, Elliott Herzlich, owner of Elliott’s Jewelers in Clarksville, Tennessee, decided to commemorate the experience of the eclipse by creating the uniquely beautiful “Corona” pendant.
For skywatchers the pendant, designed and crafted specifically to capture and keep this historical event close to the wearer’s heart, is the perfect way to preserve the memory of the total solar eclipse.

Created in the image of the eclipse, the pendant is fashioned from sterling silver, set with black onyx, and accented with CZ for a sparkling effect. It’s attached to an adjustable 22” sterling silver chain, which completes the look.

Herzlich said, “We couldn’t think of a better way to mark such a monumental event, taking place so close to home, than this special piece of jewelry. The reception to this pendant has been phenomenal, and got me thinking that perhaps other jewelers along the path of the eclipse might like to offer it to their customers. We still have a little time to order more, and would be happy to work with jewelers who are interested in offering the Corona pendant to their customers as well.”

For more information on the Corona pendant, contact Herzlich at [email protected] or call him directly at (931) 919-3570.
