Crabtree Consulting Welcomes Morgan Pacelli as Consultant

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK, NY — Crabtree Consulting announced that Morgan Pacelli has joined the firm as a consultant, expanding the team’s ability to deliver data-driven guidance and operational support to jewelry retailers and manufacturers.

Pacelli will help deliver Crabtree Consulting’s suite of services, including reporting, data analysis, project management, and fractional buying support, working directly with retailers to improve inventory performance, strengthen merchandising strategies, and support day-to-day decision making.

Pacelli began her career in the jewelry industry at Charisma Jewelers, where she spent more than 13 years on the retail side of the business. Her work focused heavily on client relationships, diamond sales, and merchandising, giving her firsthand insight into both the emotional and financial aspects of jewelry retail. During that time, she also completed extensive coursework through the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), further strengthening her expertise in diamonds and gemology.

In recent years, Pacelli transitioned toward the analytical side of the business, serving as Assistant Buyer at Cornell’s Jewelers. In that role, she worked across multiple product categories and vendors, including watches, fashion jewelry, silver, gold basics, and bridal, while taking primary responsibility for managing the store’s loose diamond inventory as well as key programs such as diamond studs, diamond bracelets, birthstones, and tennis bracelets. She regularly evaluated inventory performance using sales data, margin analysis, and turnover metrics to guide purchasing decisions, while closely monitoring fast-selling items and ensuring core programs remained consistently in stock through timely purchasing and replenishment.

Throughout her career, Pacelli has worked closely with independently owned jewelry retailers, developing a strong understanding of how these businesses approach buying, inventory planning, and merchandising, as well as the operational realities they navigate each day.

Alongside her industry experience, Pacelli recently earned her MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology, with a concentration in Executive Leadership.
