(PRESS RELEASE) GENESEO, NY — After 35 years of shining service in the fine jewelry business, David Mann of David Mann Jewelers announced his retirement. To thank the community for the years of loyal support, David is hosting a huge retirement sale, with savings of up to 70% off storewide. All are invited to David Mann Jewelers to save on gold, diamonds, gemstones, engagement rings and much more.

David Mann Jewelers is a beloved local store with over 70 years of history. David started out in the food business, helping out at his in-laws’ jewelry store in Geneseo on the weekends. After his father-in-law’s retirement, David decided to keep the store in the family and take the leap into the world of fine jewelry. He purchased the store and changed the name to David Mann Jewelers in 1989. Under David’s leadership and big personality, the store became known for its welcoming and fun atmosphere, offering fair, honest and friendly customer service for every guest.

Over the years, David Mann Jewelers has been deeply involved in the community, not only by offering fine jewelry for every special occasion, but also through participation in the Geneseo Rotary Club, Main Street Merchants Association and support for various local organizations and events. David Mann is also a long time member of the Independent Jewelers Association (IJO) and Retail Jewelers Organization (RJO).

David expressed his gratitude to the community for its support. “It’s been a pleasure to serve such terrific, caring and kind people,” he said. “The jewelry business is about celebration and making people feel good, and I’m very fortunate to have been part of that for my customers and families for so many years.”

David plans to travel with his wife, Denise, after his retirement. They plan on enjoying the free time and visiting with family, including two children, granddaughter and David’s mother in-law, who remains interested in the events of the store she and her husband started.

Hurry in to David Mann Jewelers to wish David well in his next chapter, share a joke or two and enjoy up to 70% off storewide at its huge retirement sale. Save on gold, diamonds, fine jewelry and much more for a limited time only.

Honoring a Legacy: How Smith & Son Jewelers Exceeded Every Goal With Wilkerson

When Andrew Smith decided to close the Springfield, Massachusetts location of Smith & Son Jewelers, the decision came down to family. His father was retiring after 72 years in the business, and Andrew wanted to spend more time with his children and soon-to-arrive grandchildren. For this fourth-generation jeweler whose great-grandfather founded the company in 1918, closing the 107-year-old Springfield location required the right partner. Smith chose Wilkerson, and the experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. "Everything they told me was 100% true," Smith says. "The ease and use of all their tools was wonderful." The consultants' knowledge and expertise proved invaluable. Smith and his father set their own financial goal, but Wilkerson proposed three more ambitious targets. "We thought we would never make it," Smith explains. "We were dead wrong. We hit our first goal, second goal and third goal. It was amazing." Smith's recommendation is emphatic: "I would never be able to do what they did by myself."
