David Yurman Announces Opening of New Store at Americana Manhasset Mall In New York

(PRESS RELEASE) MANHASSET, NY — American luxury jeweler David Yurman announces the re-opening of its newest boutique at the Americana Manhasset Mall.

The newly renovated David Yurman boutique is centrally located on the Northern Blvd side of the open-air shopping complex. Inside the new space, clients will experience the next generation of David Yurman store design—a continuation of President & Chief Creative Officer Evan Yurman’s vision for the brand’s future. The new store design will allow for a more substantial curation of David Yurman designs across all categories, including Women’s, Men’s and Wedding – presented in its own unique environment.

Like the David Yurman 57th Street flagship in New York City, the Manhasset store features an elegant, modern interior that celebrates the Yurman aesthetic and focus on quality. The store features a floor of dark Cardoso stone and pale Bardiglio marble slabs, interior millwork made from white oak, nickel and silver travertine countertops, and a rose gold and fluted granite façade. The new space also includes a luxurious private shopping area furnished with mid-century modern pieces – inspired by the Yurman family’s personal collections.



When There’s No Succession Plan, Call Wilkerson

Bob Wesley, owner of Robert C. Wesley Jewelers in Scottsdale, Ariz., was a third-generation jeweler. When it was time to enjoy life on the other side of the counter, he weighed his options. His lease was nearing renewal time and with no succession plan, he decided it was time to call Wilkerson. There was plenty of inventory to sell and at first, says Wesley, he thought he might try to manage a sale himself.
