Bold and bodacious yellow gold continues to go strong despite the rise in price we have been witnessing over the past two years. Where it will end up is anyone’s guess, but at present, designers are creating looks that are singular and gutsy in all classifications of jewelry. Some pieces hark back to the Retro period while others reveal inspirations of mid-20th century jewelry. Textile and tactile interest come into play with various finishes as well as engraved, embossed and relief details.
