Billie Eilish’s rings stole the limelight as the “it” jewels at the 2022 Academy Awards. Rebecca Selva of Fred Leighton transformed stars from a 19th century tiara for Eilish to wear as rings. She said, “A star in her own right, Billie was truly the inspiration for us looking at the stars from the tiara in a different way.” Selva and Eilish’s stylist Giannini added more antique rings and one-of-a-kind modern takes on past styles. Those looks were created with old cut stones by the Fred Leighton design team under their label, Signed Fred Leighton.

Dua Lipa at the 2022 Grammy Awards channeled the ‘80s in Versace fashion and multiple bracelets but then came back to the present with fingers full of Bulgari diamond rings. Her look for the evening was piled-on jewelry, and while I usually think “too much,” it not only worked but looked fabulous.
