Diamond Divas focused on the neckline with diamond chokers that had either a more delicate or vintage feeling or felt less formal when worn by the younger stars. There were a few long earrings that were red carpet worthy, but we saw mostly diamond studs that complemented the necklaces worn closer to the throat. But when the earrings dipped into linear styles, they turned on the glamour, as did diamond rings. There was an everyday appeal to diamonds in yellow gold in hoops, bangles and band rings.

Dashing Gents proved that there’s progress in how men can wear jewelry in their daily lives and to black tie events. The man brooch has become a staple at awards shows.

Fresher still were Art Deco clip brooches, pendant brooches and necklaces worn at the collar of the shirt rather than on the lapel, although there was an awe- inspiring array of those as well. Watches, which many men will find more in tune with their lifestyles, were out in full force.

Celebrities Rock expanded on the trend toward colored gemstones and personal expression and gave a nod to Art Deco styles. There was an update on necklaces with gemstones or highlights of gemstones mixed with diamonds. Emeralds and blue and fancy colored sapphires were predominant.
