HAVE YOU EVER SEEN Elle Fanning at an awards ceremony not looking like Hollywood Royalty? With the help of her stylist Samantha McMillen, the A-lister never disappoints. And at the 2026 Academy Awards, Fanning, who was nominated for her role in “Sentimental Value”, looked like a fairytale princess in her silver and white Givenchy by Sarah Burton ballgown and antique Cartier Belle Époque necklace, circa 1903, which was one of the star jewels of the evening. The ‘Wisteria’ necklace was originally two brooches, which could be worn as a tiara, and then was reset into a necklace. It is comprised of round old-cut diamonds.

And, although Fanning has been seen on many red carpets, this was only her second time at the Oscars. Her first was in 2025 when she also wore a Givenchy gown with a black ribbon and a Cartier archival necklace from 1958, which was choker length and featured swags of diamonds.

At this year’s Golden Globes, she wore a delicate floral Gucci gown and a stunning Cartier En Équilibre necklace called the Pavocelle — a name derived from the Latin “pavo” (peacock) and the French “ocelle” (the eye motif on a peacock’s tail). The necklace evokes the curves, ruffles and movement of the elegant bird fanning its feathers. It is a transformable piece — Fanning wore it without the central blue sapphire gemstone, which can also be worn as a brooch.

Since she became a Cartier ambassador in 2023, her jewelry has been mesmerizing and in keeping with her effervescent glamour.
