Ethical Gem Suppliers Return to Tucson 2026 With First-Ever Designer Showcase

(PRESS RELEASE) TUCSON, AZ — The Ethical Gem Suppliers Collective will return to Tucson in 2026 with its annual Ethical Gem Fair, a trade-only event dedicated to responsibly sourced gemstones, transparent supply chains, and community-driven values within the jewelry industry.

Hosted once again at the Scottish Rite Cathedral, the Ethical Gem Fair will take place Friday, January 30 through Monday, February 2, 2026. The event welcomes designers, jewelers, and industry professionals seeking traceable materials, direct relationships, and deeper insight into how gemstones move from mine to market. Participating suppliers include Agere Treasures, ANZA Gems, Capricorn Gems, Columbia Gem House, Nature’s Geometry/Quore, Nineteen48, Perpetuum Jewels, and Virtu Gem.

New this year, the Ethical Gem Suppliers will debut a Designer Showcase, featuring finished jewelry created using consciously sourced gemstones. The showcase is designed to highlight intentional design, material choices, and production decisions, while celebrating the growing network of designers committed to responsible practices. By presenting finished work alongside raw materials, the showcase draws a clear connection between responsible choices and their final expression in jewelry.

Another highlight of the 2026 fair will be a Happy Hour Event on Sunday, February 1, from 4:00–6:00 PM, co-hosted with the Community for Ethical Jewelry. The event will feature food and drinks in a relaxed, welcoming environment, along with an optional “Sip & Stamp” scavenger hunt designed to encourage exploration, conversation, and connection throughout the fair. Attendees can engage with industry experts, connect with like-minded peers, and participate for a chance to win a collection of gems sourced from participating suppliers— celebrating shared values and collaborative impact.

The Ethical Gem Fair is trade-only. Registration is free but required for entry.

97 Years of Family History, One Right Decision: How Malloves Jewelers Found the Right Partner to Close with Grace

Marc Levin’s grandfather Max founded Malloves Jewelers in Middletown, CT, in 1928. Nearly a century later, Marc — the third-generation owner — knew it was time to retire. He’d watched friends and fellow jewelers navigate store closings with Wilkerson’s help, and their recommendations were hard to ignore. Once he connected with the Wilkerson team, the decision was clear. “They made me feel like family,” he says. Wilkerson’s team handled every detail day by day, kept Marc informed every step of the way and delivered results that met and exceeded his financial goals. Watch Marc share the story of Malloves Jewelers’ final chapter — and why he slept soundly through all of it.
