AS THE OFFICIAL PARTNER of the Cannes Film Festival, Chopard creates a new collection each year with Caroline Scheufele as the visionary behind the designs being worn by A-list celebrities on the red carpet. For the 2024 festival, the collection “Contes de Fées” pays homage to fantastical fairytales and the magical world of happily-ever-afters with a focus on floral, plant and animal motifs. The collection features 77 pieces to signify the 77 years of the festival. While there were awe-inspiring statement necklaces with the most intricate of details, the shoulder-sweeping floral earrings blossomed as some of the most inspiring botanical designs that are on trend with the Garden Party theme that we first saw at the 2024 Met Gala. They are sure to influence jewelry directions from holiday 2024 through spring 2025. Eva Green and Demi Moore were two of the celebrities who wore earrings from the Contes de Fées collection — colorful, vibrant and featuring different dimensional elongated earrings that stood out as some of the showstoppers of the event.

Green wore a pair of deep red pear-shaped and pink/ purple two-tier flower drops to the Second Act screening and opening red carpet ceremony.

Moore wore Chopard throughout the festival, and two of the looks she donned on her ears were floral designs. One pair featured almost lifelike orchids that dipped down almost to her shoulders. The other pair featured gemstone flowers on the lobes with a fringe effect dripping from the tops. Both styles were breathtaking, as were all of the Chopard pieces worn throughout Cannes.

Ready to Relocate? Wilkerson Makes Your Move Seamless

When Brockhaus Jewelry decided to leave their longtime West Main Street storefront for a standalone building elsewhere in Norman, Oklahoma, owners John Brockhaus and Brad Shipman faced a familiar challenge: how to efficiently reduce inventory before the big move. Their solution? Partnering with liquidation specialists Wilkerson for a second time. "We'd already experienced Wilkerson's professionalism during a previous sale," Shipman recalls. "But their approach to our relocation event truly impressed us. They strategically prioritized our existing pieces while tactfully introducing complementary merchandise as inventory levels decreased." The carefully orchestrated sale didn't just meet targets—it shattered them. Asked if they'd endorse Wilkerson to industry colleagues planning similar transitions—whether relocating, retiring, or refreshing their space—both partners were emphatic in their approval. "The entire process was remarkably straightforward," Shipman notes. "Wilkerson delivered a well-structured program, paired us with a knowledgeable advisor, and managed every detail flawlessly from concept to completion."
