Fourth-Generation Jeweler in Alabama Sees Value in the Unique
Joseph Denaburg
Levy’s Fine Jewelry, Birmingham, AL

Joseph Denaburg is the marketing director and digital strategist at Levy’s Fine Jewelry. He earned a degree in accounting from the University of Alabama and has completed courses at the GIA as he works toward a graduate gemologist certificate. He represents the fourth generation of his family to work at Levy’s, which was founded by his namesake and great-grandfather, Joe Denaburg, a pawn shop owner and wrestling promoter. “I don’t believe in the concept of trends,” Joseph says. “The only real trend today is individualism. The way that a piece makes you feel and the energy your body radiates is what makes it pretty. The way a style meshes with someone’s personality is what makes it attractive. That matters the most.”

97 Years of Family History, One Right Decision: How Malloves Jewelers Found the Right Partner to Close with Grace

Marc Levin’s grandfather Max founded Malloves Jewelers in Middletown, CT, in 1928. Nearly a century later, Marc — the third-generation owner — knew it was time to retire. He’d watched friends and fellow jewelers navigate store closings with Wilkerson’s help, and their recommendations were hard to ignore. Once he connected with the Wilkerson team, the decision was clear. “They made me feel like family,” he says. Wilkerson’s team handled every detail day by day, kept Marc informed every step of the way and delivered results that met and exceeded his financial goals. Watch Marc share the story of Malloves Jewelers’ final chapter — and why he slept soundly through all of it.
