Gembridge Celebrates 1,250 Gemstones Sold With No Returns

(PRESS RELEASE) Gembridge has celebrated 1,250 gemstones sold with no returns, including the biggest transaction so far on the digital marketplace for US$220,000 paid by a retail customer using a credit card.

Gembridge connects customers in 60 countries with the world’s top 1,000+ suppliers of gemstones and jewellery.

“A 100% successful transaction rate means that every sale on Gembridge since launch has ended with a delighted buyer and a paid seller, with zero returns made via our global returns policy,” said Gembridge CEO Nick Marrett.

Gembridge promises to help its customers find their Perfect Stone. It starts with them being able to quickly find exactly what they want using its online platform to discover and compare thousands of stones from around the world.

Once they find a stone, Gembridge’s commercial team helps customers make the right commercial or personal choices by ensuring sellers provide accurate cataloguing, video and photography material along with competitive prices.

“Our sales process makes sure customers take delivery of exactly what they have purchased before payment is released to sellers,” says Gembridge Commercial Director Jean Jureidini.

“We effectively remove the product and payment risk. Which is backed up by a global returns policy.”

Gembridge’s sellers are among the most professional in the industry. Its management team interviews and vets each new seller before they are allowed to list their inventory on Gembridge.

“Sales payments made between Gembridge, our customers and sellers move efficiently through the international banks and credit card companies because Gembridge is the only online marketplace in the world regulated for anti-money laundering and the countering of terrorism financing,” Marrett says.

Gembridge offers digital marketplaces for both retail customers and the coloured gemstones trading community.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
