Gembridge Launches Trade
Promotion with Chinastone in US

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — Gembridge, a digital coloured gemstone trading platform, is launching a trade promotion for high precision, machine-cut calibrated stones with Bangkok-based manufacturer and AGTA member Chinastone in the U.S. market.

Gembridge will make precision calibrated stones supplied by Chinastone easily available to the U.S. trade, including jewellery manufacturers and designers, with a door-to-door global service.

“Gembridge’s exclusive partnership with Chinastone will create a superb new opportunity to source expertly manufactured calibrated coloured gemstones in the jewellery and watch sectors,” said Gembridge Chairman Tony Brooke.

The promotional campaign, supported by social media, will drive orders for calibrated gemstones manufactured by Chinastone and boost trade registrations on Gembridge.

The promotion will put samples directly into the hands of trade members in the U.S.

The first 500 who successfully register and join Gembridge receive a free pack of 10 sample stones worth up to US$50. The campaign will promote this cost-effectively through email and social channels.

Earlier this year Gembridge signed a groundbreaking agreement with Chinastone to exclusively deliver digital sales of the manufacturer’s gemstones, which is expected to boost e-commerce to the global small and medium enterprise (SME) market.
Chinastone is a leading manufacturer of high-precision cut gemstones. Its clients include the world’s most admired luxury jewellery and watch brands, independent line jewellers and watch manufacturers. They rely on Chinastone’s comprehensive range of melee-sized calibrated natural coloured gemstones and Chinastone’s real time availability of over 20 million stones.

Gembridge is the sole manager of Chinastone’s digital marketing and sales channel, focused on the global SME market, which currently accounts for a significant portion of Chinastone’s annual turnover.

“We are excited to be opening up this new digital sales channel with Gembridge and making our high precision, machine-cut calibrated stones available to thousands of small to medium sized manufacturers and jewellery designers across the U.S.,” said Mr Li Chongjie, the Founder of Chinastone.

Time to Do What You've Always Wanted? Time to Call Wilkerson.

It was time. Teri Allen and her brother, Nick Pavlich, Jr., had been at the helm of Dearborn Jewelers of Plymouth in Plymouth, Mich., for decades. Their father, Nick Pavlich, Sr., had founded the store in 1950, but after so many wonderful years helping families around Michigan celebrate their most important moments, it was time to get some “moments” of their own. Teri says Wilkerson was the logical choice to run their retirement sale. “They’re the only company that specializes in closing jewelry stores,” she says. During the sale, Teri says a highlight was seeing so many generations of customers who wanted to buy “that one last piece of jewelry from us.” Would she recommend Wilkerson? Absolutely. “There is no way that I would have been able to do this by myself.”
