(PRESS RELEASE) DALLAS, TX — GemOro has announced updates to its handheld XRF gold and precious metal analyzer, including the addition of a Plating Warning Detection feature and a three-year warranty.
The GemOro XRF, manufactured in the United States, uses a Silicon Drift Detector and is designed for jewelers, pawnshops, appraisers, precious metals buyers and jewelry manufacturers. The unit identifies and measures precious metal elements and includes a Rolex 904L stainless steel identifier that distinguishes the stainless steel used in Rolex watch cases and bands from 304 and 316 stainless steel. The Plating Warning Detection feature, also available on GemOro’s Assay Lab desktop XRF, is now included in the handheld model.
The unit is priced at $16,499, with financing available at approximately $350 per month. It includes two rechargeable battery packs and a hardshell Pelican Case. The GemOro XRF is available through authorized dealers including Stuller, Zak Jewelry Tools, Landa/BTI, SEP Tools, Star Struck and Gesswein.
