GIGI HADID LOOKS amazing in just about anything she puts on — and her Instagram posts in which she’s bejeweled in Jacquie Aiche’s beaded necklaces are no exception. Whether she’s layered them with a T-shirt and gold pendants and chain or wearing them solo with a swimsuit, her youthful style shines through.

And Gigi can sure strike a pose. She can look pensive, seductive, contemplative, alluring — well, the list goes on and on. The camera loves her, and why not? She’s a muse for designers, a fashion influencer and an idol of young girls who want to look like her and imitate her look.

We have found at least four posts in which she’s wearing Aiche’s beaded stones with a gem in the center, all created to promote healing properties and certain energies. They seemed to be a summer essential of Gigi’s, and one that she’s continuing to wear into fall. There’s a certain late ‘60s/early ‘70s “make love not war’ vibe to them — part of a time in which Diana Vreeland coined the phrase “youthquake,” in which the youth from the UK to the U.S. became an inspiration for the fashion industry as well as music and pop culture.

We can see that this natural beauty looks stunning in all the ways and places in which she wears them but how about you?

Would you wear them …

Personally, I’d wear them in all the ways that Gigi does on IG and anywhere and everywhere. I think they’d look great layered with my other necklaces. But then again, I was a baby in the ‘60s and a kid in ‘70s, too young to really experience wearing love beads but idolizing Susan Dey on The Partridge Family when she did. I also had a thing for the late David Cassidy in puka shells. Which brings me to the fact that Justin Bieber was also spotted wearing Aiche’s beads. But let’s stay with Gigi for now…

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
