The ring “appears to feature a classic, six-prong setting with a 6-9 carat solitaire diamond set on a white gold or platinum band,” Kathryn Money of Brilliant Earth told Page Six. She estimated the cost of the ring at “$500,000+.”

Kylie Bee, Forevermark merchandising manager, also commented on the ring: “The light return on this beautiful diamond makes it difficult to decipher the exact shape. It looks like Gwen’s diamond engagement ring could be either a cushion or round brilliant diamond, roughly between 5-8 carats, which would be hundreds of thousands of dollars.”

Katie Zimmerman of Blue Nile was quoted saying she would “estimate the total weight of her engagement ring to be approximately 8-10 carats at a value of $700,000-$800,000.”

A source told Us Weekly that Shelton had the ring custom-designed. But there’s no word yet on who the designer was.

Moving Up — Not Out — with Wilkerson

Trish Parks has always wanted to be in the jewelry business and that passion has fueled her success. The original Corinth Jewelers opened in the Mississippi town of the same name in 2007. This year, Parks moved her business from its original strip mall location to a 10,000-square foot standalone store. To make room for fresh, new merchandise, she asked Wilkerson to organize a moving sale. “What I remember most about the sale is the outpouring excitement and appreciation from our customers,” says Parks. Would she recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers? “I would recommend Wilkerson because they came in, did what they were supposed to and made us all comfortable. And we met our goals.”
