GWYNETH PALTROW has always worn stunning jewelry on the red carpet. Her most iconic moment: borrowing Harry Winston’s 40-carat diamond Princess necklace to receive her Best Actress Oscar at the 1999 Academy Awards — a piece her father, Bruce Paltrow, purchased for her afterward.

In 2000 she went to Cathy Waterman’s studio and selected Waterman’s Ruby Spiderweb lariat for herself before working with stylist Elizabeth Saltzman in 2002, whom she continues to work with today.

Saltzman has always been very particular in what she chooses for Paltrow to wear on the red carpet. She has worn pieces from many renowned houses as well as independent designers and antique/vintage jewelry throughout the years.

During the 2026 Actors Awards, she went against the big trend of wearing natural diamonds to the event. Instead she wore a knockout lace Givenchy gown with an intriguing pair of vintage Suzanne Belperron earrings. The actress, part of the nominated cast of “Marty Supreme,” complemented the gown with the trailblazing designer’s long sculptural earrings, circa 1930, that are in the company’s archival collection. They are crafted in silver and gray gold with black enamel mounts with round and oval turquoise cabochons. In a press release sent out by the company, it states: “The earrings demonstrate Belperron’s unmatched ability to use jewelry as a form of art – transcending trends and achieving eternal modernity.”
